1. Do the one thing you
absolutely love and charge for it.
2. Ignore the
dream-killers around you.
3. Promote your own
name rather than a company name.
4. Position yourself as
the leader in your niche, not a follower or an
also-ran.
5. Narrow your niche
even more or create a new niche if
necessary.
6. Multiply yourself by
offering your specialized knowledge in a variety of
formats.
7. Attract people to
you, rather than "knocking on doors" to get
clients.
8. Avoid obvious paid
advertising.
9. Avoid working for
free.
10. Get paid to promote
yourself.
11. Do fun things that
just happen to be newsworthy.
12. Be a memorable
person: a contrarian, a maverick, a pioneer, a
rebel.
Can you accept all 12 of these
principles? They aren't as simple as you think because they
contradict traditional thinking. How many of them conflict
with your current marketing methods? Be honest.

7. Do you have a speaker agent in place? Speaker bureau(s)?
8. Are you a publicist, PR consultant, marketing
consultant, speaker bureau owner or speaker agent?
9. Do you coach speakers?
Kindly register no
later than 3 days before the first day of class.
If not
enough people - 6 minimum - are registered ahead of time
the class may be cancelled.
Class
Format
1. One email lecture a day for 12 days,
followed by 2 more days of Q & A.
2. Go at your own pace. You don't need to be at your
computer at a given time.
3. Work alone or with a registered buddy.
3. Ask Andrea questions at any time through our private
discussion list.
4. Get support and inspiration from your classmates.
5. Complete homework assignments which will lead you to
your goal.
Method
• You'll get a lesson from me each day and you'll also be
on a private, small group, Yahoogroups discussion list
(short-term) where everyone in the class can post comments,
questions and requests for brainstorming. I encourage
introductions.
• You will receive all the questions I receive and all the
answers and examples I provide to each member of the class.
If there is enough interest I'll keep the list open past
the last class for helpful interaction.
• You don't need to be online at any specific time, you
just need to be signed up for the class in enough time to
get all the materials and communications.
• I also ask that the discussion list correspondence not be
made available to non-paying students. It's an honor
system: if two or more of you are using the materials you
must pay for two or more people.
