I'm currently working on a new nonfiction book , The Kindness Experiment, based on my 13 years of personal experience traveling openly as a writer on a mission in Canada and the United States. My "case studies" (here's one) prompt the question: Why do we reject kindness and generosity when to do so works against our own best interests?
