Writer Seeks Companies with Heart… (and parking) so she can write book about creative generosity, kindness

KindnessMobile
Have you seen this van around Erie?

[Erie PA] Would you invite a woman to park her “kindness-mobile” in your company parking lot for a week or a month so she can write The Kindness Experiment, a book about generosity of spirit?

Would you, if you received favorable promotion on her website, in her book, and on
media broadcasts and keynote speeches? What if she also kept an eye on your premises? As an investigative journalist she is a keen observer and was the first to spot two house fires - one in Erie - and also identify a serial burglar - in Toronto - so police could bring him to justice.

Shade is imperative because of her 14 year old cat. She can't leave him in a 120 degree van in the sun because he would die, and most stores and restaurants won't allow her to bring her cat in with her.

Vaninshade
In summer a shady spot is imperative.
In direct sun the internal temperature of the van can become
100-120 degrees in 10 minutes which could kill Casper the cat.

Andrea Reynolds is an unconventional 60 year old, former public relations consultant for corporate clients and freelance broadcaster who is starting again with no income or savings after multiple years of personal and business crises… some resulting from heartless company officials. She knows there are companies with a generous spirit everywhere, she just has to find them…so she can write about them. She’s already met plenty of the other kind, including churches who said she wasn't welcome to park in their empty lots.

She returned to Erie from Canada to be her elderly father's patient advocate. "I'm just a nice person, trying to do the right thing for both my father and my cat, but I just can't get a break in this town. One apartment manager wanted 13 months rent in advance
before she would even show me a unit. One bank didn't want my account because "anyone from Canada must be a drug dealer."

While Reynolds would appreciate a housesitting assignment, she welcomes invitations to park in shady parking lots from:
Auto Dealers, Chiropractors, Churches, Colleges, Dentists, Grocery Stores, Health and Fitness Clubs, Hospitals, Inns and Hotels, Law firms, Libraries, Physicians, Radio and TV stations, Realtors, Restaurants, Veterinarians, etc.

passengerside
A place to park with an outside electrical outlet and water spigot would be heaven.

With no mortgage or rent to pay Reynolds will live on less than $1,000 a month (including food, gas and storage unit)…so she can write, publish and promote her next book, The Kindness Experiment. Equipped with nearly everything she needs, although primitive – except for water and electricity – her 2002 Econoline van will be home for up to two years for her and her cat Casper.

Until
August 30, any individual can claim a copy of her future book for $10, have his/her name listed as a patron and save some cash on the post-publication copy. She is putting a limit of 2,000 on the sale of early copies, but multiple copy orders are accepted. Her mailing address is: Andrea Reynolds, Suite 647, 2501 West 12th Street, Erie PA 16505 but also accepts PayPal payments: crisiswriter@gmail.com

To earn income, Reynolds sells her previous books, all electronic, on her web site, AndreaReynolds.com. Some are:
Sell Your Mobile Home in Less Than 60 Days, Jump Start Your Creative Genius, OutSmarting Sweetheart Swindlers, and No Surprises: 365 Critical Questions You Need to Ask Each Other Before You Marry (featured on the sitcom, What I Like About You, and is supplementary reading in the Family Studies Dept. at Kent State University) and The Bed & Breakfast Guest Etiquette Quiz.

"I'm home-free, not home-less," Reynolds insists. "I want to work, but can't get hired for beans. Even Wegman's rejected me for a bag loading job. I've even offered to housesit for free. Until people are willing to pay me for my professional consulting, writing, and speaking skills again, parking lot surfing is how I must live within my means. It's more conducive to writing than couch surfing."

For those who are wondering: the Canadian resident has no other family in Erie and is no slouch: She has a degree in Family and Consumer Science, and Marketing and Communication, from Kent State University, studied at Edinboro and Oxford Universities, did graduate work at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and picked up courses at 3 more universities. She doesn't drink, smoke, do drugs, gamble or buy fancy shoes.
