Estimates
are $25.... but this fee will be deducted
from the
project price.
Estimates are free for projects with a value of $500 or
more for which we are hired
within 30 days.
PRICES CAN INCLUDE:
- Prep work: testing, damp wiping to remove dust, taping off, cutting in,
- Clean up, including vacuuming,
- Basic wall painting: one, two, or 3 coats (primer and/or color),
- Painting of flat doors, trim, baseboards.
Extra services. Save money by doing these yourself, or we can do them for a fee.
- Removing face plates, patching, sanding, scraping, and scrubbing dirty walls.
- Removing wallpaper, moving furniture, packing/relocating valuable items.
- Unscrewing fixtures from wall: towel racks, mirrors, small cabinets, lights, doors.
- Waiting for paint decisions, purchasing more paint, changing color mid-way.
- Moving back all your furniture the way it was, or repositioning it. (Consider our home staging services.)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You supply enough paint; or we purchase at cost ($20-$30 per hour).
- We supply ladder, brushes, rollers, tape, drop cloths, trays, fans, lamps.
- We don’t paint over dirt, grime, dust, tobacco smoke, peeling wallpaper.
- We don’t smoke, drink, do drugs or take what doesn’t belong to us.
- We are careful, clean and quiet. We are cheerful, respectful, honorable.
- We may be slower than speedy painters; but the results are worth it.
- We guarantee our work: we’ll return to do touchups in first week.
- We work better and quicker when not interrupted or distracted.
- We leave the remaining paint with you for touchups.
- We leave your home tidy and clean as a whistle.
