Handy Ande Corporate Philosophy
1. She operates under the
Golden Rule: She treats others in the way she hopes others
will treat her.
2. She encourages her staff and service providers to
volunteer at a cause of their choice at least one half-day
a month, helping others in need.
3. Ten percent of her revenues are channeled to charitable
works and good causes.
4. She hires people from all nationalities, colors, faiths,
and sizes.
5. She selects the providers who most embody good manners,
good work ethics, civility and kindness.
6. She encourages providers to take care of their health
through good nutrition, cat naps, and exercise.
7. She offers providers opportunities to meet, support, and
network with each other.
8. She encourages providers to share assignments with each
other but also hire each other in order to remember what
it's like to be the client.
9. She abhors bullying, mobbing, gossip, obcene language,
and words of hate or discrimination.
10. She keeps her promises and delivers on time.
11. If she makes a mistake, she apologizes and fixes it at
no additional charge.
12. She learns how to do the assignment right, on her own
time.
Some
of the rules of conduct she has adopted and
recommends:
1. If you open it, close
it.
2. If you turn it on, turn it off.
3. If you unlock it, lock it.
4. If you break it, repair it.
5. If you can't fix it, call someone who can.
6. If you borrow it, return it.
7. If you use it, take care of it.
8. If you make a mess, clean it up.
9. If you move it, put it back.
10. If you want to use it and it belongs to someone else,
get permission first.
11. If you don't know how to operate it, leave it alone.
12. If it doesn't concern you, mind your own
business.
Andrea
added these four additional rules:
13. If you can't prove a
statement is true, don't repeat it.
14. If you can't keep a secret, say so...before someone
tells you the secret.
15. If you make a promise, keep it.
16. If you mistreat a journalist, expect to read about what
you did.
