My Philosophy
I believe in treating
everyone well, but especially my clientele. I also hold
highly the qualities of ethical behavior, kindness,
compassion, loyalty, privacy and confidentiality. I obey
laws, is ethical, and am well-mannered.
My Handy Ande Corporate Philosophy
1. I operate under the
Golden Rule: I treat others in the way I hope others will
treat me.
2. I encourage my staff and service providers to volunteer
at a cause of their choice at least one half-day a month,
helping others in need.
3. Ten percent of my revenues are channeled to charitable
works and good causes.
4. I hire people from all nationalities, colors, faiths,
and sizes.
5. To work with me, I select the service providers who most
embody good manners, good work ethics, civility and
kindness.
6. I encourage those service providers to take care of
their health through good nutrition, cat naps, and
exercise.
7. I offer service providers opportunities to meet,
support, and network with each other.
8. I encourage service providers to share assignments with
each other, and also hire each other
in order to
remember what it's like to be the client.
9. I abhor bullying, mobbing, gossip, obcene language, and
words of hate or discrimination.
10. I keep my promises and deliver on time.
11. If I make a mistake, I apologize and fix it or replace
it at no additional charge.
12. I learn how to do the assignment right, on my own
time.
Some
of the rules of conduct I have adopted and
recommend:
1. If you open it, close
it.
2. If you turn it on, turn it off.
3. If you unlock it, lock it.
4. If you break it, repair it.
5. If you can't fix it, call someone who can.
6. If you borrow it, return it.
7. If you use it, take care of it.
8. If you make a mess, clean it up.
9. If you move it, put it back.
10. If you want to use it and it belongs to someone else,
get permission first.
11. If you don't know how to operate it, leave it alone.
12. If it doesn't concern you, mind your own
business.
I've
added these four additional rules:
13. If you can't prove a
statement is true, don't repeat it.
14. If you can't keep a secret, say so...before someone
tells you the secret.
15. If you make a promise, keep it.
16. If you mistreat a journalist, expect to read about what
you did.
